Like many of you, we’ve been deeply saddened by the significant destruction that the recent bushfires have caused throughout the country. The extensive loss of bushland, life and homes – both human and animal – is unprecedented. Through our internal efforts as a business and generous donations by the JD team, we’ve been able to raise $117,000 to donate to help with recovery efforts. We’re also looking into how we can donate product to those in need, understanding that the most pertinent priority is immediate funding.
This will be our only post today, out of respect for those directly and indirectly affected by the bushfires, and to focus the attention and awareness to our followers on how you can support those in need. We’re donating to several different funds to spread our contribution as widely as possible across the community including state firefighters, animal welfare groups, food drivers and charities.
