Celebrating 25 years of the Air Jordan 11, Jordan brand delivers a new colour-way inspired by Tinker’s original drawings bringing to life the Air Jordan 11 ‘Jubilee’. Following a number of “Sketch” colourways on another Tinker Hatfield original, the Air Max 1, Jordan brand comes to the Holiday table with a Sketch-inspired sneaker of their own. As is customary for the holiday season, sneakerheads have had December circled awaiting for the arrival of another marquee Air Jordan 11 to gift themselves; except this year matching sneakers is a must, with Women’s specific sizes dropping for the ladies.
Typically reserved for Retro Jordan 11’s such as the ‘Bred’, ‘Space Jam’ and ‘Concord’, the ‘Jubilee’ iteration sets up to be a modern classic amongst the pantheon of legendary Jordan XI colourways. Bringing a beloved black patent leather wrap at the lower half of the upper, a robust black mesh sits above with customary “JORDAN” sprawled across the eyelets in a metallic silver makeup. The metallic silver extends onto the heel Jumpman logo, while Jordan’s signature “23” is placed onto the heel and the branding at the in-step. Tying back to the 25 year jubilee of the shoe, the in-sole pays homage with a “25” accompanying the Jumpman logo. Complete with a translucent outsole and carbon fibre plate at the medial midsole, get a closer look at one of the cleanest modern colourways of the Air Jordan 11 to date below.
