New Balance continues to expand its colourway offering for its ever popular 550 silhouette. Adding a few more must haves for the collection the New Balance 550 releases in a subdued ‘Panda’ and vintage ‘Cream Black’ colourway. Simplicity is the name of the game when it comes to the New Balance 550 range and these two new releases have not deviated from the successful tried-and-true formula.
The New Balance 550 ‘Panda’ features are sleek black base, that highlights the constructed mix of mesh and leather. Detailing is seen on the iconic New Balance “N” branding, as well as the rubber midsole. The outsole features black and dark grey colour blocking to round out the design.
Taking inspiration from New Balance’s popular collaborations the New Balance 550 ‘Cream Black’ also features a mostly mesh and leather construction with its leather uppers dominated by a cream hue. The basketball-leather infused New Balance “N” branding, 550 motifs, heel branding, collars and trimmings are all outlined in black for a sleek look. The midsole continues the upper’s design donning that familiar cream tone, while the outsole boasts hints of black and grey.
