Since it’s introduction in 2017, Nike’s Vapormax roster has only continued to expand; with the Nike Air VaporMax Run Utility the latest in the series. Featuring the pronounced VaporMax unit fans have come to know and love, Nike elevates the silhouette with technical upgrades reminiscent of an ACG sneaker. Boasting everything from coveted 3M reflective material, to a water-proof construction, these are built to withstand the most rugged of terrain.
With utilitarian functionality firmly at the core of the sneaker, the Air VaporMax Run Utility is tailor-made for a hiking-inspired aesthetic. Constructed with a lighter knit base around the midsole, the synthetic ripstop employed at the toe box and fused tongue ensures lasting durability. With exposed fly-wire integrated into a rope lacing system, the toggle fastening design lets you secure these with minimal effort before embarking on the climb. Sat atop the signature VaporMax sole unit, the shoe is finished with speckled piping at the midsole, 3M reflective pops and Utility tab label across the heel.
Arriving in an olive green colour-way, black tones takeover the VaporMax unit, heel and laces; whilst contrasting olive hues are used along the upper to bring a military-themed look to the utilitarian design. Also landing in a desert ore, almost safari inspired colour scheme, black and charcoal shades are livened with dark-red flywire and orange lining.
Expect these weatherproof wonders to land at JD Sports on the 1st of November.
