A new year calls for new style…or does it?! With Summer in full flow, we’re taking a look at some of last year’s hottest trends that we think will carry through 2023, as well as some key trends that have just started to make waves in the fashion world.
As some of the biggest brands in the streetwear game have already begun to drop the latest heat, here’s what trends we think will seriously be in in 2023.

It’s Never Too Jazzy
Amid the hype of the World Cup back in November and December, the latest international kits dropped from the likes of Nike, adidas and PUMA. Bringin’ innovate fabrics to keep the players cool in the heat of the desert, the major sportswear brands dug deep into their archives for some vintage prints.
The revival of these old-school designs has coincided with the recent rise of classic football shirts from clubs across the globe. Score Draw are leading the way, dropping both iconic shirts that everyone remembers and lesser-known designs that trigger nostalgia for the purists.
Relying on bold colours, geometric prints, vintage branding and classic collars, they’re guaranteed to turn heads. Whether you’re a football fan or not, we see them truly stealing the show across Spring and Summer!
To the Terraces We Go
Adding to the bloke-core vibes we’re beginning to see, terrace-inspired footwear is on the up once again after the adidas x Gucci collab that took Summer by storm in 2022.
Chunky, retro-futuristic trainers have been the go-to look for a while, but as it fades, the more refined, sports heritage silhouette offers a simpler, clean-cut look.
adidas Originals has been a pioneer of this trend, dropping their signature Gazelles, Jeans and Handball Spezials in understated two-tone colourways that let your ‘fits do the talking, in addition to flashes of colour across suede and leather panels to really catch your attention.
Perfect for pairing up with rolled-up jeans and a pullover jacket or shorts and a graphic tee, the blend of casual, matchday-ready style and essential comfort keeps them laidback. Lace up in them for everyday errands, for nights out with mates or for your pre-match scoop on the concourse.
Utility Wear Is In
Cargo pants made a mega comeback last year, and in 2023, they’re bringing a few more utility pieces to the party, too, including jackets, shorts and accessories.
The utility style we’re seeing now leans towards a street edition of the military look that was all the rage in the early noughties. In stark contrast to the low-waist and baggy silhouettes of past, the likes of The North Face add their outdoor influence on the trend for a peak-to-street style, that features toggle-adjustable ankle cuffs to taper the fit and compliment your sneaker game.
Canvas, nylon and ripstop fabrics combine with black, grey and green tones for classic utility feels, while multiple cargo pockets add subtle style to simple designs.
Hoodrich has taken its trend in its stride, elevatin’ their underground-inspired range with utility cues across sweatshirts, joggers, raincoats, gilets and crossbody bags.
It’s All About Athleisure
Athleisure is thriving RN! From tech-driven fabrics to sporty silhouettes, the lines of trainingwear and off-duty comfies have blurred for this trend to take centre stage for both men and women.
For the guys, Nike, adidas, New Balance and more are nodding back to their track heritage to deliver tees, hoodies tracksuits and shorts that are just as suitable from the sofa to the weights room (and everywhere in between).
Whether you’re into your fitness or not, it doesn’t matter! With hybrid working the way forwards, casual style has taken off as people are stepping out from their office chairs and sofa slumbers.
Combining a soft, fleecy touch and the ability to wick sweat from the skin, this trend’s focus is all on comfort as you move.
