adidas returns to the roots of arguably its premier trainer of the 21st century, with the return of the adidas Ultra BOOST 1.0 OG. Now into it’s 5th iteration, the original shoe responsible for ushering in a new era of comfort and style returns in all it’s glory, to remind novice and seasoned sneakerheads alike, who the king of comfort really is. Birthing a revolution of BOOST offspring, this sneaker deserves to sit atop the Mt. Rushmore of OG silhouettes with iconic silhouettes such as the Air Jordan 1, Air Force 1 and adidas Superstar.
Returning to it’s original tooling, the retro return rings true to the luxe finishes featured in its original release. With original sock-fit 1.0 Primeknit reappearing on the upper, the largely black design is perfectly contrasted with subtle grey tones at the toe box, vamp and beneath the lace-cage. With blacked out laces and lace-cage, the metallic gold aglets are matched to the ultra boost call out on the iconic purple heel cap. Bringing boost underfoot cushioning in all its greatness, the sole receives an upgrade with a Continental rubber outsole for added traction and durability.
The homecoming king of 2018, rest assured that lines will be formed and bots will be bought for this release.
