JD Sports Presents Rugby League under the Sin City lights!
We celebrated the bigger, bolder nad NRL season opener in Las Vegas with two epic clashes between the Canberra Raiders and New Zealand Warriors and the Penrith Panthers and Cronulla Sharks. Not to mention extra action between the women’s Australian Jillaroos and England team!
With a great turnout of 45,209 fans cheering on the 8 teams in Vegas!
The Greatest Show on Turf 💪
For the 2nd year running the NRL touched down in Las Vegas to showcase their skills at Allegiant Stadium. With round 1 officially kicking off with the Canberra Raiders and the New Zealand Warriors, where the ‘Green Machine’ triumphed over the Warriors with an emphatic victory 21-0, marking their biggest Round 1 win since 2019!
The second NRL contest between the current Premiers Penrith Panthers, was more of a tight contest with the Panthers clinging on to win against the Cronulla Sharks 28-22, launching their quest for a fifth straight premiership!
We welcomed the Jillaroos and women’s England national team to the fold this year, and this proved to be the highest scoring affair of Vegas. The Jillaroos stamped their authority on Allegiant Stadium with a clinical performance to defeat England 90-4.

The Stars Align ⭐
Not only did the players show out on the field but off the field, we saw the players in endless drip from the Nike Dunk Low, adidas Originals Climacool 1, ASICS Gel-Quantum 360 5 and the new Nike Air Max Dn8!
As a warm up before the round starts, the players introduced themselves to the crow by busting some moves and showing more than just their footy skills!
