The Air Jordan IV “Black Cat” is returning in 2025, and it’s easily one of the most anticipated retro drops of the year. The colourway first debuted in 2006, an all-black, no-nonsense execution that tapped perfectly into MJ’s “Black Cat” persona. It resurfaced in 2020 with the same stealthy nubuck build and minimal branding, quickly becoming a cult favourite for its clean look, easy wear and timeless street appeal.
The 2025 edition brings the Black Cat back with attitude, but with a few key upgrades. Jordan Brand has sharpened the silhouette, bringing it closer to the original 1989 build while maintaining that premium nubuck texture across the upper. The classic Air Jordan Black Cat IV features return mesh side panels, elevated wings and sculpted structure but this time with a standout detail. Nike Air branding on the heel for the first time on a Black Cat IV. A blacked out midsole keeps the sneaker grounded in its dark, understated look, while subtle hits of grey and white detailing provide just enough contrast without compromising the mood.
To land a pair, you’ll need to enter the raffle. The draw opens Friday 21st November and closes Thursday 27th November, with both men’s and juniors sizing available.
