Designed by women, for women, Nike set out to bring feminine elegance to the legend that is Nike Air. With streamlined versatility, the newest addition to the Air Max stable is set to establish itself as the new favourite addition to a lady’s rotation (and guys who can fit women’s sizing).
Recruiting a designer, engineer, developer and product manager, from the inception of the team, it was clear that the vision was to create a sleek, streamlined and ultra-versatile sneaker, that moves seamlessly from gym floors to sidewalks without losing a step. Featuring a translucent TPE upper, most recently seen on revered silhouettes including the React Element 87 or Zoom Fly, the construction brings a lightweight aesthetic for added performance. With a streamlined design and low sitting collar created specifically to fit a female foot, the upper is sat atop an exaggerated white midsole. Bringing the Air in droves, the Dia boats a pronounced air max unit with a capped heel wrap. Finished with rubber situated at the perimeter of the outsole for reliable traction and stability, these maximalist Max’s are bound to turn heads with it’s unmistakable aesthetic.
