Jordan Brand revisits a memorable Air Jordan 11 Retro release of the past with this upcoming Low-top. In December of 2015, the Jumpman honoured the unforgettable 72-10 season of the ’95-’96 Chicago Bulls by crafting a premium take on the silhouette that MJ wore throughout that legendary campaign. Swapping the traditional patent leather mudguard for a sparkly glossy finish sparked a controversial response, but over time Jordan fanatics grew to appreciate the change.
Joining that new mudguard finish was a premium leather with a tumbled finish as well as nubuck surfaces on the lace eyelets. The “23” and Jumpman at the heel are also finished with plastic overlays, while an opaque outsole completes the look.
