NBA All-Star Weekend hits Chicago this weekend, and Jordan Brand is going large with the Air Jordan 3 SE ‘Red Cement’. This year’s All star weekend holds a special place in the history of Jordan Brand. With Chicago last playing host to the event in ’88, the image of Michael Jordan lacing up the Air Jordan 3 and taking off from the free-throw line is burned into the memories of basketball fanatics; besting dunk legend Dominique Wilkins and becoming a two-time slam dunk champion. Returning in signature Chicago colour-ways, the Air Jordan 3 ‘Unite’ is the biggest launch of the weekend’s all star roster of sneaker releases.

A legend amongst the Jordan Brand lineage, the Jordan 3 is most renowned for it’s elephant print panelling seen in it’s ‘Black Cement’ and ‘Fire Red’ make-ups. Boasting a resemblance to DJ Khaled’s triple-red take from a few years ago, the ‘Unite’ colour-way paints a bulls-esque colour scheme, with a red tumbled leather upper, off-set with black and white quarter-sole panels. Maintaining the signature elephant print panels at the toe and heel, the grey perforated tongue boasts a signature Jumpman logo. With a city-exclusive “NIKE CHI” iteration releasing exclusively in the windy city, the wider GR release sees a fan favourite “NIKE AIR” badge grace the heel to complete the sneaker.

Releasing in full-family sizes to keep the fam together, look for these to launch Online and JD Stores on the 15th of February 2020.

Shop the range of Jordan Brand here and be sure to stay locked to all things launches at the JD Launch Hub.
