Jordan Brand’s memo for this fresh-yet-familiar Air Jordan 4 must have been to make it as close to the ‘Military Blue‘ as possible while swapping blue for black. Taking heavy inspiration from the iconic ‘Military Blue’ this iteration of the Air Jordan 4, dubbed ‘Military Black’ shares the exact same colour blocking as the Military Blue first released in 1989.
Everywhere blue was placed on the ‘Military Black‘, from the midsole to the eye stays, heel tab and tongue branding, there’s black here. The same goes for white and grey, as the top half is constructed entirely of white leather with grey accents seen on the mudguards, ‘wings’ and outsole. The only slight difference is the above-mentioned mudguard, which offers a different grey shade and a shaggier construction than the ‘Military Blue.’
Launching Men’s and Junior’s in-store and online, so keep it locked to the JD feed for all launch details as the launch date draws closer.
