Apart from being the perfect oxymoron of fiery footwear for frosty conditions, Jordan fits out this ’89 classic with cozy features and functional design. With a colour-way reminiscent of the highly coveted Air Jordan IV ‘Encore’, the difference is in the details with this must-have limited release.
No weather conditions have ever stopped a true Jordan-head from rocking a pair of J’s, but the added layer of protection in this pair is a welcome upgrade to a classic. Deviating from the traditional leather with mesh underlays, this iteration utilises a treated blue nubuck upper with synthetic underlays for added water resistance. The signature TPU lacing wings are featured in black and grey, while the TPU heel counter is camouflaged with matching blue tones and black Jumpman branding. Kicking up the cozy factor, the sneaker is lined with a plush black fleece material at the heel and a bright red behind the tongue. Finished with customary Flight tongue tags and interior “AIR JORDAN” interior patches, the Air injected midsole adds instant comfort to each step.
