Jordan brand celebrates the Fresh Prince with the Air Jordan 5 ‘Reverse Bel-Air’. Most synonymous with the typically 90’s ‘Grape’ colour-way, Will Smith took the Air Jordan 5 from West Philadelphia to the hills of Bel Air and made them a 90’s style icon. The alternate version remixes the ‘Bel Air’ iteration whilst maintaining the 90’s vibe across the sneaker.
Inspired directly by Will Smith’s Fresh Prince moniker, the pair swaps out the grey-dressed upper of the original colour-way with a crisp white leather. With purple painted across the midsole, vibrant pops of infrared and volt yellow add some flamboyant attitude. Featuring a graphic-print sock liner from the 90’s, the blacked out tongue and laces are embellished with mismatched infrared and yellow Jumpman branding at the tongue and heel and “23” stitching at the heel.
