Made infamous by the “Johnny Killroy” campaign during Michael Jordan’s brief retirement from basketball, the Jordan IX has always been a sneaker in the Air Jordan lineage which has flown under the radar. Now arriving in signature Chicago-esque colours, this new colourway is primed for its debut everywhere from the hardwood to street sidewalks.
With red patent never before seen on this particular model, the callback to Bull’s colours is enough to get the mouth watering of Jordan-heads and sneaker lovers alike. Featuring a crisp white leather base, the red patent leather wrap overlay brings premium eye catching materials to the shoe. With black accents at the eyelets, tongue and heel tab, the Jordan branding is made clear with the woven 23 and rubberised Jordan globe at the heel.
