Inspired by Jordan Brand alum Ray Allen’s Celtics PE worn during his time in Boston’s Big 3, Jordan delivers a Celtics themed colour-way with the Air Jordan 13 ‘Lucky Green’. With long standing ties with the Boston Celtics franchise, dating back to Jordan’s 63 at TD Garden against the likes of Hall of Famers Larry Bird and Kevin McHale, the Ray Allen’s time in Boston saw a plethora of mouth-watering Celtic’s green colour-ways spawn on signature Jordan’s.
Bearing a very similar scheme to the rare Ray Allen PE, the upper features a white tumbled leather upper balanced with a premium leather toe. With Celtics-esque greenery painted across the midsole and suede mudguard reaching up to the heel, the sock liner and outsole is finished with solid black contrast. Complete with Jumpman branding at the tongue and ’23’ holographic heel piece, the Boston faithful will need some of that irish charm to secure a pair.
Launching at JD Sports on the 26th of September, stay tuned for release details as the date draws closer.
