The UNC inspired Air Jordan XI Retro makes a return in time for the holiday season!
It’s time again for every sneakerheads cherished holiday tradition, the Jordan Brand’s annual December drop of a sought after Air Jordan 11 colourway! The Air Jordan XI is your true sneakerhead favourite Air Jordan, even legendary designer Tinker Hatfield’s favourite Jordan silhouette.
When it first debuted in 1995, the shoe’s patent leather mudguard was unlike anything anyone had ever seen on a performance sneaker, and nearly 30 years later it’s retained a peerless reputation among collectors.
This year’s Jordan 11 drop centres on a brighter, fresher colourway that hasn’t been rereleased since 2014: the Air Jordan 11 ‘Legend Blue,’ whose icy palette draws inspiration from MJ’s alma mater, the University of North Carolina.
Originally dropped in 1996 and famously sported by Michael Jordan at the NBA All-Star Game, this iconic sneaker returned in 2001 and then resurfaced in 2014 as the Air Jordan 11 ‘Legend Blue’.
