About Our Artists
To celebrate the release of the new JD-exclusive New Balance 1906’s, we recruited UK-based artists, Betarok75 and INSA, to create some in-store podiums that we could showcase the new sneaks on.
Originally born in Livingston, Scotland, Betarok loved watching his older brothers produce mad graffiti-style art and before long, he had a spray can in-hand alongside them.
Developing his unique way of painting with the Many Styles Crew, he eventually moved to Liverpool with his company ZAP GRAFFITI to produce commercial works, as well as put on workshops and creative spaces for young artists.
London-based INSA has accumulated a huge following with his unique take on graffiti art.
Coining the term GIF-ITI to describe his way of producing GIF animations with his work, the artist isn’t afraid to push creative boundaries.
A pain-staking process, GIF-ITI requires INSA to repaint a wall, by hand, several times, but the incredible results are more than worth it.
INSA describes it as “slices of infinite un-reality, cutting edge art for the Tumblr generation”. Using digital technology to enhance his artistic vision, INSA is one of the most original artists out there RN.

Firmly establishing himself as one of the hottest new voices in UK rap, Sainté is on a sharp trajectory to the very top.
His unique, West Coast-inspired sound combined with his presence and personality on stage has led the Leicester-born artist to link-up with some of the biggest names in the game.
With his debut mixtape ‘Still Local’ just dropping on a major label, Sainté has his sights set on the big-time.
