Nike delivers fresh dimensions to an all-time Swoosh classic by channeling feminine inspiration with the introduction of the Nike Air Force 1 Shadow. Upgraded with elements of deconstruction and futuristic motifs, the new design doubles down on the distinct flair of the AF1, for a modern interpretation on the Bruce Kilgore masterpiece. Led from a female perspective, the sneakers build upon the strength of the 1s Reimagined and the Nike Air Force 1 Sage campaigns to continue to celebrate the force of change that women are in their communities.
Unique yet familiar to the eye, the new expression, shape and details of the Nike Air Force 1 Shadow perfectly create the allure of accessible style with distinct flair. Overlapping additional layers to many of the foundational elements, the original swoosh is printed and layered with an off kilter woven swoosh. With further overlays added to the toe box, rear midsole panelling and heel tab, these lay a veil over smooth leather contrasting base tones underneath. The stacked rear midsole panel wraps around the edge of the heel piece, doubling down on the “AIR” callout, while a signature woven tongue tab is offset with a printed Air Force 1 stamp to the side. Complete with a slightly higher mid-sole providing a modern lift and cored out outsole for lightweight performance and enhanced comfort, these will effortlessly slide into female footwear rotations everywhere.
Landing at JD Sports on the 3rd of October in 4 distinct colour-ways, the Nike Air Force 1 Shadow continues on its path to elevating the force of females everywhere.
