HATFIELD MASTERY: AIR JORDAN VI ‘TINKER’

Taking a ride down memory lane, Jordan Brand delivers an original unreleased colour-way with the Air Jordan VI ‘Tinker’. In contrasting fashion to the Air Jordan III ‘Sketch’ that was brought to life earlier this year, this version of the Jordan VI retains all of it’s original details that Jordan-heads have come to know and love. A Tinker Hatfield masterpiece and worn by Michael during the 1990-91 season, the silhouette is most renowned for being the pair that saw Jordan capture his first NBA Title over the “Bad Boy” Pistons.

Inspired by Bo Jackson’s 1990 Air Trainer SC II (another Tinker Hatfield special), Tinker borrows the same hues when conceiving this ‘original’ colour-way. Boasting cool grey tones on the underlays and toebox, the overlays are elevated with the use of premium white tumbled leather. A quintessential on Jordan VI’s, bright infrared makes an appearance on the tongue, heel and midsole panels to add a pop of colour. Complete with a semi-translucent icy blue outsole and black neoprene throat, time honoured perforations scattered across its upper add enhanced ventilation.
